Market Data Analyst (Data Feeds)
TeleTrader d.o.o. is part of TeleTrader Software Group, a software company specialized in stock market data and financial analysis, offering a broad portfolio of tools for the processing, visualization and analysis of stock market data. TeleTrader as an internationally acting company head-quartered in Vienna, Austria is selling its products in Europe, North America and Asia and is developing its software in Belgrade.
Within its Data Maintenance Department TeleTrader is offering the following vacancy:
Main Tasks:
- Evaluate new or modified data feed specifications provided by various external data sources (exchanges, data providers, news agencies, etc.)
- Translate these specifications into a standardized set of business rules that will guide the development team towards successful implementation
- Analyze the market data from external data sources and adapt it to fit the TeleTrader market data model
- Acquire know-how about market conventions on various exchanges (specifics about how instruments are traded, trading conditions, trading units, trading hours, etc)
- Actively advise the development team during the implementation and release stages of the development life cycle
- Apply quality assurance procedures to ensure the released data feed complies with the TeleTrader market data model and the rules outlined in the specification
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the financial markets, especially financial market data and various asset classes (stocks, bonds, funds, derivatives, etc.)
- Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn an unfamiliar software and/or technology
- Capacity to understand and analyze specifications provided by exchanges and data vendors
- Capacity to produce precise and detailed business documents
- SQL know-how is a plus
- Pragmatic spirit
- Attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and cooperate with peers
- Fluent written and spoken English
