Senior IT Engineer
Location: Belgrade
Your tasks:
- Supporting world wide enterprise clients as a technical consultant within the primary focus on Oracle WebCenter Content and the WebLogic server platform and Oracle Cloud offerings
- Researching and solving issues with Oracle WebCenter Content
- Communicating with our Oracle WebCenter Content clients on a daily basis related to their Oracle WebCenter Content issues via written and spoken communication
- Advising customers on products features, functionality, and operational issues
- Take ownership of technical issues, and working with our Development group to resolve more advanced issues when necessary
- Maintaining strong self-organization and follow up skills to ensure appropriate case handling through to closure of each reported issues
- Search for additional ways to add support services value to customers; be proactive in providing services when possible
- Participating in providing training to customers as required
- Creating “Employee Engagement” within the team; a team driven to achieve business goals, perform at their best, and willingness to go the extra mile
- Facilitating cross-training and knowledge training within the team
Your Profile:
- University degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, software engineering, etc.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with technical and system support or other relevant experience (5+ years is desirable)
- Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written are obligatory
- Communication skills to handle multiple clients in a single day
- Ability to communicate complex ideas to others at their own level of understanding and ability to analyze,
isolate, duplicate and resolve problems - Strong leadership skills
- Creating an environment of collaboration and effective across teams communication
- Deep understanding and experience with any of the enterprise Application Servers (WebLogic, JBoss, Websphere, etc.)
- Some experience and ability to work with SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Java
- Knowledge of Web Server Technologies (IIS, Apache, etc.)
- Knowledge of Database structures (i.e. SQL, Oracle, DB2, Sybase)
- Professional orientation towards the Java platform
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows and Unix based environments)
