C / C++ Developer
Location: Novi Sad, Belgrade, Banja Luka, Osijek
Main duties:
- Design, development, integration and software components testing
- Participation in the process of project requirements specification, defining and designing software architecture
- Providing documentation and test cases (unit testing) for implemented software solutions
- Participation in code review process
- Cooperation with the SW/HW project teams in different locations
Candidate Profile:
- Academic education in computer technology (BSc or MSc degree)
- Deep understanding of C programming (“under the hood”): e.g. calling convention, stack and heap roles, memory alignment, program memory map, interrupt mechanism, debugging techniques, etc.
- Good understanding of software development process (build system, version control, testing, issue tracking…)
- Good understanding of software development for Linux OS, the use of tools and methods to work on Linux console
- General programming skills: algorithm solving, data structures, programming paradigms, common software design and architectural patterns
- Understanding the principles of operating systems, multithreading programming concepts, real-time systems programming
- Active use of English in spoken and written communication (at least B1 level)
- Ability to travel abroad on demand
- Orientation towards teamwork and capability to work on distance with international team
- Strong desire for professional development
Desired skills and knowledge:
- Specifics of software development for embedded systems: Real – time systems programming, Multithreading programming concepts (IPC Sync Objects) , HW/SW interface, Communication interfaces and protocols
- Work with Web -oriented tools for project management (project management and collaboration tools)
- The operating principles of multimedia systems and software (DVB, MPEG, H264)
- Basic of testing methodologies
