Agronomist
Location: Russia – Amur Region
Job Description:
- Determine the technological processes for sowing crops and the growing of soybean and wheat
seeds - Management of agro-technical processes in the cultivation of plants
- Determine ways of cultivating crops on different plots of land, having in consideration the conditions
of soil - Make decisions about the plowing, sowing and plant protection (use of chemicals)
- Select and procure the seeds, fertilizers and other materials required for plant growth
- Schedule the plowing and sowing
- Draw the production plans according to the consumers’ needs
- Receive orders, developing the market and drawing up plans for growing of soybean and wheat
seeds - Manage the exploitation of land resources
- Prepare laboratory tests for agricultural land and organization of the ground
- Determine the fertilization process
- Prepare the production plan for the cereal crops and legumes crops
- Record the operative documents
Candidate Profile:
- BSc in Agronomy, preferable Department for Field and Vegetable Crops/Plant Protection
- Around 10 years of experience in key positions – Chief Agronomist, Leading Agronomist or similar
- Experienced in the field of agro-chemical plant protection
- Experienced in agronomy, soybean and wheat cultivation
- Preferable knowledge of English language
- Knowledge of Russian language would be considered as an advantage
- Ability to work in a team
- A favorable attitude towards working in the field
