Senior PHP Developer
An ideal developer for this role will have solid fundamentals in computer science and OOP software development but with extraordinary skill in PHP.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with technical leadership to design and implement new services and improve on existing services
- Ability to performance tune, debug and integrate with existing services and other production team applications
- Develop and test new code to ensure logic and syntax are correct, and results are accurate
- Design and document new features while adhering to our established best practices
- Assist in creating, maintaining and promoting best practices
- Assist other developers with assignments through mentoring and code reviews
Qualifications:
- Strong skill and experience developing software and excellent skill in PHP
- Experience and ability to describe designs and/or interactions, hands on experience presenting
- Must have strong object oriented design and coding skills
- Experience with and understanding of test driven design and unit testing
- Proven experience and skill in client-server technologies, and cluster architectures and deployments
- Familiar with Git, Bitbucket and/or SVN
- Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on verbal and written communication
- Ability to solve problems quickly and completely
- Fluent in spoken and written English
