Senior Mobile App Developer
Location: Belgrade
Job Description:
We are looking for mobile app (iOS and/or Android) and web frontend developers with strong interests and capabilities in iOS and Android app development. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This individual excels at providing both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a development engagement. The candidate will also have extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative mobile development environment. A thorough understanding of contemporary software development methodologies is a must.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Two or more years of development experience in web frontend, Android and/or iOS development
- Experience with software engineering and good knowledge of web/iOS/Android technologies and concepts (e.g. Android/iOS APIs)
- Executing software/app conceptualization and development as a part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Collaborating on application planning with a lead experience architect
- Consulting with clients and lead experience architect
- Researching trends and in mobile applications
- Researching technology trends
- Performing other duties as assigned
Further Requirements:
- Strong conceptualization ability and strong technical communication ability
- Exceptional programming skills, production value and code optimization skills
- Strong working knowledge in cross-platform mobile development frameworks
- Experience with hardware integration like Beacons, wearables, etc.
- Experience in Linux system environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of common software project management practices
- Understanding of common software development practices
Additional:
- Experience in UI/UX design practices
- Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Rails, JavaScript/JQuery, ObjectiveC (iOS), C++, C#, Java, Transact-SQL, Bootstrap, ASP.net, XML.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, informatics or related field
- Knowledge in UML
- Occasional travel is required
